About Dogtown Kennels
Dogtown Kennels is family-owned and operated just outside of El Paso, IL. Since our company opened its doors in 1996, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other kennels may offer the same type of puppies, but we offer ours with a personal touch and truly are blessed when you choose to give one of our little furry babies their fur-ever home.
We are Tom and Holly Jo and we live in rural El Paso, Illinois. We have a pond and timber for the dogs to go for walks with us and they can also go for a swim. Tom and I were married in 1998 and have four children and four grandchildren between us.
We are very concerned and conscientious breeders who are concerned about the physical and mental health and well being of our dogs. We have a wonderful Veterinarian who has helped us out tremendously and we have all the confidence in the world in him. Our Veterinarian is Dr. Ron Geockner with Town and Country Animal Hospital in Normal, Illinois. We cannot ask for a better man to be responsible for our four legged family members.
Our mission is to express our love for animals, commitment and devotion to our dogs and customers by continuing to give each and every puppy and dog personal time with us, by making sure that our puppies are happy and healthy and to always be available for questions or concerns.

I would like to give a special thank you to my husband Tom for supporting me in this endeavor, for all the good times and all the bad times. Without Tom helping and supporting me, my dream would have never come true, so Thank you Scooby!
Angel Marie was born here at Dogtown Kennels on 05/11/2004. As a "preemie" we had to make sure that she survived and became a wonderful adult. I had to start bottle feeding her at 3 hours old. Angel has grown into a wonderful pet and family member. She is absolutely the best dog I have ever owned and has definitely found her forever home here with us. Angel was one of the first puppies that I had bottle fed, but there have been many more after her and they have all turned out to be beauty, healthy, happy puppies and adults.
With my deepest sorrow I have to let everyone know that my beautiful Angel Marie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 2/22/2016. My heart has been broken, although I know she is better in God's hands and playing with her friend, Goliath Eugene.
