Registrations
Three levels of registration for a purebred dog.
Limited Registration: Litters produced by the dogs are not eligible for AKC registration, however, the dog is eligible to compete in all AKC-Licensed events except breed competition at an AKC-licensed dog shows.
Full Registration: The dog can be shown in all competitions, it can be bred and puppies can be registered and the dog can be titled with AKC.
No Registration: You would be getting a purebred dog, but no paperwork with the puppy. You would not be able to obtain any paperwork at a later date. The dog will not be able to compete in any AKC events and will not be able to be bred.
At Dogtown Kennels we sell our puppies with Limited AKC Registration. We will consider selling them with full registration, however you will need to call us and we will discuss it prior to deciding if we will sell them with the Full Registration or not.
All Dogtown Kennels Adult dogs and puppies are AKC Registered. Any of the crosses are not registered, but you will receive copies of the parents pedigrees and also their AKC Registration papers, if you would like to have them registered through another kennel club. I do not feel that registering these cross breeds make them any better pets and do not see the need in registering them, but if you choose to do this, that is fine.
